On day one, expect a spectacular show of the finest finery, as breathtaking style meets unforgettable racing. Ladies Day, also known as The Oaks, never fails to attract the most fashionable Friday crowds.

‘Get dressed to feel your best’ is the mantra of the day with all guests invited to enter The Style Awards, an annually held competition celebrating individual style with the chance to win some great prizes too. 

In its second year, a charity auction of 22 haute couture hats will be on display, raising funds for Brain Tumour Research. Created by the biggest names in UK millinery, including royal milliner Stephen Jones OBE and Rachel Trevor-Morgan, the bespoke designs, will be auctioned online during May and June, with proceeds going to charity.

Run over a total distance of 1 mile, 4 furlongs and 10 yards, it’s one of the most hotly anticipated horseracing events in the UK and the greatest flat race in the world.

From racing royalty to rookie, The Betfred Derby at Epsom Downs Racecourse is for everyone. From our most prestigious enclosure, the Queen Elizabeth II Stand with access to the Parade Ring to The Lonsdale – positioned opposite – where you can pick your spot on the finishing straight and bring your own picnic, too! 

Upper Tattenham and the Open-Top Buses guarantee great race views, while on The Hill, the fun runs all-day-long with the newly-located, Derby Family Festival.
