Best part of your job?

“Being surrounded by beautiful books and getting to know our regular customers. Over the years, we’ve learned what they love to read and often swap great recommendations.”

How long have you worked here?

“From Day 1! I’ve been here since we opened in December 2017, alongside my colleague Debbie.”

Favourite reads?

“I’m a big fan of Sci-Fi and Fantasy, so I love recommending favourites. Authors like Philip Pullman, TJ Klune, Becky Chambers (Wayfarers), and Travis Baldree are my go-tos for their compelling stories and worldbuilding.”

What makes this shop special to you?

“The community. Since reopening nearly eight years ago, we’ve built a welcoming space locals are proud of – which only encourages me further to help create something truly lasting.”
